Summer Time

Summer is getting closer which means summer tours! Now that we got warped announced, another tour has announced dates and bands. Yes I am talking about the Summer Slaughter Tour. A metal heads wet dream of a tour headlined by the Black Dahlia Murder. Founded by Ash Avildsen the tour had much success in 2007 with Avildsen saying this "After the astounding success of Summer Slaughter 2007 and the high demand from the underground metal community for bringing the tour back for a second year, we had no choice but to make it a reality again! We put a lot of time, thought and effort in to assembling one of the most diverse, yet cohesive extreme metal line-ups the genre has ever seen. While all the bands share the common theme of progressive musicianship and technical brutality, they all still clearly have their own distinct sound and vibe that they bring to the mix.I'd like to thank Necrophagist for launching this tour with us last year as well as Prosthetic Records, Metal Blade and Nick Storch for helping make this year come together. I would also like to personally thank Hot Topic for stepping up to the plate and heavily supporting the most extreme tour of the year. They are truly a key player in the modern state of heavy f'ing metal and their involvement in this tour is living proof of that statement!"
