Last years ozzfest set the bar high for all other summer shows when it becames freefest making it a free show for everyone. Now this years is a different routine as well for ozzfest. This year there will only be one show. Yes thats right ONE!! It will be at Dallas, TX at the Pizza Hut Park August 9th. Acts scheduled to appear are Ozzy Osborne, Metallica, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Serj Tankian,Hellyea, Sevendust, Shadows Fall, Calvera Conspiracy,and Apocalyptica for Main Stage. Second stage will see Devildriver, Kindom of Sorrow, Soilent Green, Witchcraft, and Goatwhore. Now third stage will handle The Sword, Drowning Pool, and Rigor Mortis.
Sharon O. had this to say about the one off show.
"We're going to be a stadium destination festival for now -- we have gone past doing the sheds every summer," says Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, who is producing Ozzfest with AEG Live. "We've given everyone else the blueprint and we have to keep evolving Ozzfest. This is just the beginning; AEG Live and I have a lot of new ideas for Ozzfest."
Tickets go on sale May 31st via ozzfest.
